L’Etna è fimmina – Etna is female – is the theme of the first contest launched by the Alkantara fest – International folk and world music festival.
This first edition is dedicated to the feminine, “a muntagna” (Etna) that, not everyone may know, is considered to be female by popular common sense in Catania: she is the mother who nourishes, the root from which everything is generated, the fimmina who gives herself and who suddenly takes everything away… even your breath!
L’Etna è fimmina è il tema del primo contest lanciato da Alkantara fest – International folk e world music festival.
Questa prima edizione è dedicata al femminile, “a muntagna” (l’Etna) che non tutti sanno che nell’immaginario collettivo catanese è femmina: la madre che nutre, la radice da cui tutto si genera, la fimmina che si dona e che improvvisamente può toglierci tutto… persino il fiato!
Come partecipare
Alkantara Contest23 si svolge esclusivamente sui social Facebook e Instagram.
Per partecipare è necessario:
- pubblicare sui propri profili social, in un periodo compreso tra il 10 giugno e il 2 luglio 2023, una foto che “rilegge” l’immagine ufficiale di Alkantara Fest 2023 o vi faccia in qualche modo riferimento diretto o indiretto.
- pubblicare l’immagine con i seguenti tag e hastag (pena l’esclusione): @alkantara_fest, #alkantarafest, #etnaefimmina, #alkantaracontest23
- A questo punto dateci dentro e fatevi votare!
La foto più votata (saranno sommati i like ottenuti su Facebook e i cuoricini di Instagram) entro le ore 23.59 del 2 luglio 2023 si aggiudicherà la vittoria dell’Alkantara Contest23
Sono previsti anche dei premi di consolazione che una giuria composta da giornalisti, grafici, fotografi ed esperti in comunicazione, assegnerà a suo insindacabile giudizio.

• Foto più votata: 1 T-Shirt Alkantara + 1 borraccia Alkantara+ Ingresso a un concerto a scelta di Alkantara fest – International folk e world music festival 2023.
• Premi di consolazione: 1 T-Shirt Alkantara o 1 borraccia Alkantara
Regolamento
• Tutte le foto che partecipano ad Alkantara Contest23 saranno stampate e affisse nei giorni del festival presso l’Azienda agricola Il Pigno di Zafferana Etnea.
• Partecipando al contest i concorrenti autorizzano Alkantara Fest e l’Associazione Darshan che lo organizza ad utilizzare le foto a titolo gratuito e senza limiti di tempo (artt. 10 e 320 cod. civ. e degli artt. 96 e 97 legge 22.4.1941, n. 633) per fini non commerciali
• Partecipando al contest i concorrenti esprimono consenso alla concessione e all’uso della propria immagine per fini non commerciali.
• Le foto prive di uno o tutti i suddetti Tag/Hashtag saranno escluse dal contest.
• Saranno considerate solo foto pubblicate in post pubblici, ossia visibili a tutti.
• Età minima dei partecipanti: 16 anni.
• La partecipazione è gratuita.
• L’esito delle votazioni sarà pubblicato sui canali social del festival entro il 10 luglio.

How to participate
Alkantara Contest23 happens exclusively on social networks such as Facebook and Instagram.
Those who wish to participate must publish in “visible to all” modality on their Instagram or Facebook profile, in between June 10th and July2nd 2023, a photo that “re-reads” and revisits the official image of Alkantara Fest 2023, with reference to it in any direct or indirect way.
To participate in the contest it is necessary to publish the image with the following tag and hashtags (failure to do so will result in the exclusion from the contest):
@alkantara_fest, #alkantarafest, #etnaefimmina, #alkantaracontest23
Get started and get voted!
The photo with the most interactions (the likes obtained on Facebook and Instagram will be added) entered by 11.59 pm on July 2nd 2023 will win Alkantara Contest23. There will also be consolation prizes that a jury of journalists, graphic designers, photographers and communication experts will assign at their unquestionable judgement.

1 Alkantara T-Shirt + 1 Alkantara water bottle + a Ticket to a concert of his or her choice from the Alkantara fest – International folk and world music festival 2023.
Consolation Prize: 1 Alkantara T-Shirt or 1 Alkantara Water Bottle
• All the photos that take part in Alkantara Contest23 will be printed and exhibited during the days of the festival at the site, Il Pigno in Zafferana Etnea.
• Taking part in the competition participants authorize Alkantara Fest and Darshan Association that organizes it, to use the photo free of charge and without time limits (articles 10 and 320 of the Italian civil code and articles 96 and 97 of the Italian Law 22.4.1941, n. 633) for non-commercial purposes.
• By participating in the competition participants express their consent to the granting and use of their image for non-commercial purposes.
• Photos without all of the above tags/hashtags will be excluded from the contest.
• Photos posted as private or “not visible to all” modality are not being considered.
• Minimum age of participants: 16 years old.
The result of the votes will be published on the social media of the festival starting from July 10th.
